At 28 years old, Ari Eisenstat is a representative of the United Nations Global Sustainability Institute, an independent UN endorsed foundation working on “Education, Substantiation, and Activation" for the Sustainable Development Goals. Ari founded DRÆM VENTURES, an impact venture capital fund to invest in social entrepreneurs working to achieve the Global Goals. Ari is also the International Chamber of Commerce representative to the United Nations for the post-2015 negotiations, and member of the UN’s Interagency Working Group for Youth and Gender Equality. Ari has cofounded multiple philanthropic and entrepreneurial initiatives that support creative technology and social innovation for the SDGs. His presentations on Sustainable Development, Venture Capital, Impact Investing, and Social Entrepreneurship have been featured globally. Ari curates at and speaks at events at universities, businesses, nonprofits, and conferences, festivals, and events consulting leaders in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.or the Sustainable Development Goals.
David C. Traub, Ed.M, has enjoyed 30+ years as economic development educator; award-winning social impact producer (movies, TV, games, apps, VR); many decade entrepreneur; and social venture catalyst to numerous startups, corporates and governments. David’s most recent movie was (Steve) JOBS (2013). His most important current movie is RISE (2017), the story of our unstoppably rising oceans, and the necessary rise of humanity this must trigger. David has authored nearly 50 articles and reports, and has given nearly 100 forward-looking SDG-friendly speeches/panels. A UC Berkeley undergrad, David earned his Masters in Education in 1990 from Harvard, with simultaneous class-work at Harvard’s Business School and MIT’s Media Lab.
Francis Quinn, Ph.D., a global corporate strategist, recently joined Workiva as Director of Sustainability Technologies. Quinn began his career as research fellow at the Japanese Ministry of International Trade & Industry. In 1996, he joined L’Oreal Group as a researcher in biomimetic and composite polymers. Quinn later led the integration of The Body Shop into L’Oreal. Most recently, he built the company’s global sustainable growth strategy as director of sustainable development. Quinn received his Ph.D. in physics from Trinity College Dublin.
HSH Prince Michael of Liechtenstein studied commerce at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, and consolidated his studies by assignments for the banking and industrial sectors in Belgium, Canada and the USA.From 1978 to 1987 he worked for Nestlé SA in the fields of controlling, management and marketing on various markets in Europe and Africa. He is President of Finanzkontor in Vaduz (Liechtenstein), an international advisory and fiduciary trust company and Founder and Chairman of Geopolitical Information Service AG, as well as President of the think tank, ECAEF based in Vaduz.
Roland Schatz Founder and CEO of InnoVatio Publishing and Media Tenor International, is devoted since 30 years on implementing Social Change. In 2008 he launched together with Prince Ghazi of Jordan the C1 One World Dialogue foundation to improve Inter-Faith-Dialogue. The InnoVatio network of academics, entrepreneurs and media leaders initiated the Global Sustainability Index. Schatz teaches Perception Change and hosts masterclasses on ‘Unlearning Intolerance’ together with the UN Academic Impact.
Jevan Tan resides in Singapore, graduating with a BA and MA from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. In an earlier professional career, he worked as the Regional Country Head of a well known US Investment Bank, Morgan Stanley International. Currently, Mr Tan incubates new companies and has private equity interests in oil and gas, mining and natural resource developments, food and pharmaceutical distribution, construction and building materials, hotels and real estate developments. He holds various key positions in educational institutions and community organizations in Singapore, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and India. As an extension of his work with the youth in Singapore, Mr Tan and his associates intend to establish a non-profit Sustainability Institution and Foundation in Singapore. The organization will have an emphasis on Asia, focusing on sustainability research & analysis, management consulting & financial advisory, and private equity investments . They will also continue to expand their educational life skills and sustainability.
